The program is structured as a hybrid class, with a combination of both classroom with lecture and hands-on lab training, as well as online content. Many students successfully work full-time and part-time while attending the program.

The HVAC/R Level 2 class expands upon Level 1 and introduces students to the following: Chimneys, Vents and Flues; Air Quality Equipment; Leak Detection, Evacuation Recovery and Charging; Alternating Current; Heat Pumps; Basic Maintenance; Refrigerants and Oils; Compressors; Metering Devices; Fasteners and Hardware; Customer Relations; and Indoor Air Quality.

Textbook is included for the course.

Prerequisite REQUIRED for class: HVAC Level 1
