Students entering the Level 1 Electrical class do not need prior industry experience. Students also do not need to be currently working for an Electrical employer to start this program. The program is structured as a hybrid class, with a combination of both classroom with lecture and hands-on lab training, as well as online content. Many students successfully work full-time and part-time while attending the program.

The Level 1 class introduces students to the following: Orientation to the Electrical trade, Electrical Safety, Introduction to Electrical Circuits, Electrical Theory, Introduction to the National Electric Code, Devise Boxes, Hand Bending, Raceways & Fittings, Conductors and Cables, Basic Electrical Services, and Electrical Test Equipment.

Textbook is included for the course.

Prerequisite REQUIRED for class: Core Craft Skills
