CDL Class A Truck Driver Training: Full Time (CDS) - FF

With a national driver shortage of more than 230,000, trucking transport companies are hiring! GCC offers Entry-Level Driver Training to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

Students participate in online classroom instruction, range, and on-the-road training. Upon successful completion of the required curriculum and a demonstration of the skill set needed to pass the DMV exam, the training provider will submit the driver training certification information to FMCSA via the Training Provider Registry. The student will arrange to take the CDL exam with DMV.

Both full-time and part-time programs are available. The full-time option is held Monday through Friday. The part-time program is held on weekends.

Recruiters will be on-site during training sessions for job placement assistance and most students have job offers before they graduate.
FastForward Tuition Assistance is available to eligible students.

Information about the required DOT Physical and drug screening will be provided after enrollment.  You will need to have your learner's permit no later than 7 days before the class start date.
 
GCC is concerned about the well-being of all students. The training provider enforces safety protocols for the range and behind-the-wheel training that comply with CDC guidelines. Students enrolled in the course agree to comply with all guidelines and protocols established by both GCC and the training provider.
