This class is sectioned in two parts. The first part will be self-paced and web-based that teaches the basics of Blueprint Reading, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, Quality Control, Machining Processes, Machine Setup, CNC Machine Operation, Precision Measurement and Gauging, and Cycle Time Optimization.  Each module is tested. Part 1 is self-paced and can be done at the school, home, etc.  The second part is additional knowledge in Measurements, Materials & Safety including the use of Precision Measurement Devices and Material Designation.  This will allow the student to earn their first National Institute of Metalworking Skills Credential - Measurement, Materials & Safety.  This part will be held in person at the shop.
