Specifications and QC/QA testing.  Intended audience includes field personnel directly responsible for control, placement, and testing of asphalt as well as Construction Insepctors, Senior Construction Inspectors, Consultant Construction Inspectors, Senior Consultant Construction Inspectors, Materials IA & QA personnel, and Permit Inspectors.  The class will be mandatory for the Paving Superintendents and Density Technicians.  Calculator required.  Exam required for certification.  Course may be taken consecutively with the Asphalt Field Level I Class.
This is an online Canvas course. The test is an online VDOT Materials Certification Exam within Canvas and testing will occur at VCCS community college testing centers.
