This course is a combination of instructor-led modules through Zoom and scheduled Face to Face proficiencies.

This class serves as the Second year of training in the HVAC craft.
Students will learn the following content: Commercial Airside Systems, Chimneys, Vents and Flues, Introduction to Hydronic, Air Quality Systems, Leak Detection, Evacuation, Recovery and Charging, Alternating Current, Basic Electronics, Introduction to Circuit Troubleshooting, Troubleshooting Gas Heating, Troubleshooting Cooling, Heat pumps Basic Installation and Maintenance Practices, and Sheet metal Duct Systems.
Textbook is included for the course

**Prerequisites CORE Craft Skills & Level 1 HVAC Apprenticeship.

This trades program meets the requirements for a state registered apprenticeship; however, they do not place you into a state registered apprenticeship. Registered apprenticeship is between a student and an employer.

During the first class, students will complete required NCCER paperwork, receive class information and schedules, and check out their book(s).

Class will meet in person with safety protocols, and will be set to shift to a hybrid delivery if guidelines restrict in-person meetings.
