This course is a combination of instructor-led modules through Zoom and scheduled Face to Face proficiencies.

This class serves as the first level of training in the HVAC profession. This course will cover the following in modularized form:
Introduction to the Trade
Trade math
Copper and Plastic Piping Practices
Basic Electricity
Soldering and brazing
Ferrous Metal Piping
Introduction to Cooling
Introduction to Heating
Air Destruction Systems 

With completion of all course work and test, the student will be awarded a NCCER Credential.

Textbooks are included in the course.

**Pre-Requisite REQUIRED for class: Core Craft Skills - Section # 3160001**

This trades program meets the requirements for a state registered apprenticeship; however, they do not place you into a state registered apprenticeship. Registered apprenticeship is between a student and an employer.

During the first class, students will complete required NCCER paperwork, receive class information and schedules, and check out their book(s).

Class will meet in person with safety protocols, and will be set to shift to a hybrid delivery if guidelines restrict in-person meetings.
