This Electrical Level 1 course serves as the first year of training in the Electrical craft and will cover the following content: Orientation to the Electrical Trade; Electrical Safety; Introduction to Electrical Circuits; Electrical Theory; Introduction to the National Electrical Code; Device Boxes; Hand Bending; Raceways and Fittings; Conductors and Cables; Basic Electrical Construction Drawings; Residential Electrical Services; and Electrical Test Equipment. Upon completion of all course work, the student will receive an NCCER credential. The required corequisite is NCCER Core Craft Skills. A textbook is required for this class and will be provided.  Class will meet Tuesday evenings beginning February 15, 2022 and include 6 Saturday classes in March, April and May, 2022. 
**Pre-Requisite REQUIRED for class: Core Craft Skills.**

This trades program meets the requirements for a state registered apprenticeship; however, they do not place you into a state registered apprenticeship. Registered apprenticeship is between a student and an employer.  Class will meet in person with safety protocols, and will be set to shift to a hybrid delivery if guidelines restrict in-person meetings.
