This class serves as the second year of training in the Electrical craft.  This Electrical Level 2 course will cover the following content:  Alternating Current; Motors:  Theory and Application; Electrical Lighting; Conduit Bending; Pull and Junction Boxes; Conductor Installations; Cable Tray; Conductor Terminations and Splices; Grounding and Bonding; Circuit Breakers and Fuses; and Control Systems and Fundamental Concepts.  A textbook is required for this course and will be provided.  A Code Book is needed for this course and must be purchased by the student. 

**Pre-Requisite REQUIRED for class: Core Craft Skills & Electrical Apprenticeship Level 1 **

Please provide an accurate email when you register. This trades program meets the requirements for a state registered apprenticeship; however, they do not place you into a state registered apprenticeship. Registered apprenticeship is between a student and an employer.
During the first class, students will complete required NCCER paperwork, receive class information and schedules, and check out their book(s). Class will meet in person with safety protocols, and will be set to shift to a hybrid delivery if guidelines restrict in-person meetings.
