Students entering the Welding Level 2 class need to have completed NCCER Welding Level 1. NCCER's Welding Level 2 builds upon Level 1, expanding training in key areas like, welding symbols, reading detail drawings, and advanced welding processes like GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux-Corde Arch Welding). It also covers topics like physical and mechanical properties of metals, preheating, and post heating.

Textbook is included for the course.

Prerequisite REQUIRED for class: Welding Level 1
