This is the second of eight courses, over 15 weeks you learn about electrical safety, electrical theory, test equipment, the National Electrical Code, conductors, fittings, blueprints, and wiring for both residential and commercial applications.  You will also need to be employed by a certified electrical company and registered with the Department of Labor & Industry.  The apprenticeship program will be administered by the Charlottesville-Albemarle Technical Education Center (CATEC). Please bring a current code book to class.
