This course will introduce students to basic electrical theory, magnetism and electromagnetism, power supplies, measurement instruments, output and control devices, semiconductor devices, circuit protection, and power conditioners. The course will cover circuit theory and applications to include: Series and parallel circuits, output intensity control, sequencing, logic gates, ohm’s law, capacitance, inductance, reactance, force, work, power, and schematic diagrams. Theory presentations will be reinforced by intensive hands-on lab experiments and applications.
