The program is structured as a hybrid class, with a combination of both classroom with lecture and hands-on lab training, as well as online content. Many students successfully work full-time and part-time while attending the program.

The HVAC/R Level 3 class expands upon Levels 1 - 2 and introduces students to the following: Introduction to Hydronic Systems; Troubleshooting Gas Heating; Troubleshooting Cooling; Sheet Metal Duct Systems; Fiberglass and Fabric Duct Systems; Retail Refrigeration Systems; Steam Systems; Troubleshooting Oil Heating, Troubleshooting Heat Pumps; Troubleshooting Accessories; Zoning, Ductless and Variable Refrigerant Flow; Control Circuit Troubleshooting and Motor Testing and Troubleshooting.

Textbook is included for the course.

Prerequisite REQUIRED for class: HVAC Level 2
